Claire has lived and worked in New York for almost a decade. She founded her strategic consultancy in 2016, after a career spent traveling the world for executive roles in Hong Kong, Shanghai, Sydney and London, and working with some of today’s most challenged businesses.
A corporate provocateur, Claire is driven to transform the way brands think about their offer for maximum ROI and brand engagement. She specializes in reframing opportunities by challenging the 'normal' perspective, looking at businesses and brands through the lens of cultural context, and shaping strategic implications for action.
Claire was previously EVP, Global Business Director at The Future Laboratory, the leading London-based trend forecasting and consumer insight consultancy. Here she worked with a host of global brand clients, leveraging trends and consumer insights into commercial realities.
Prior to The Future Laboratory, she lead a New York creative agency, and during her 20-year career she has worked with brands including Pandora Jewelry, Estée Lauder, NARS, L'Oreal, Shiseido, Qantas airlines, QIC|GRE (Queensland Investment Corporation), Howard Hughes Corporation, Westfield, Westpac Bank, Commonwealth Bank, Luxottica/Sunglass Hut, Lend Lease, Starwood hotels, Intercontinental Hotels Group, HongKong Land, Swire Properties, Airbus.
Claire is a dual US/British citizen and has a Master's degree in International Business Administration. She is an investor and board member of three start-up businesses, and speaks enough French, Spanish and Mandarin to get by.
